6 Foundations for Turning AI Prompts Into Actionable Personalized Learning Plans
Ariel Elyah
Expose knowledge gaps and deepen mastery by explaining one skill to AI, professional peers, and students at three levels of complexity. This mini-course is built around the Teach to Learn Mastery Plan Designer, a guided AI assistant that asks focused questions one at a time before creating a three-phase mastery plan with probing AI questions, a three-minute PLC script, a student-friendly introduction, and feedback mechanisms.
You will learn how to prepare the target skill, current understanding, uncertain areas, professional context, PLC audience, student age, and likely application. The course shows you how to respond to the assistant’s guided workflow, keep the conversation focused, and shape the output around your real educational context.
By the end, you will be able to use ChatGPT to produce a three-phase mastery plan with probing AI questions, a three-minute PLC script, a student-friendly introduction, and feedback mechanisms, then evaluate it for active explanation, audience adaptation, low-stakes practice, metacognition, gap detection, conceptual accuracy, and progressive simplification. You will leave with a repeatable process that can be adapted to future tasks while keeping professional judgment in the loop.
