6 Foundations for Turning AI Prompts Into Actionable Personalized Learning Plans
Ariel Elyah
Create a standards-aligned project with a compelling driving question, student agency, rigorous inquiry, and an authentic public outcome. This mini-course is built around the Project-Based Learning (PBL) Experience Designer, a guided AI assistant that asks focused questions one at a time before creating a complete PBL design with driving question, inquiry sequence, student choices, milestones, assessment, resources, and authentic final product.
You will learn how to prepare grade level, subject or standards, student interests, available time, community context, resources, technology, and possible authentic audiences. The course shows you how to respond to the assistant’s guided workflow, keep the conversation focused, and shape the output around your real educational context.
By the end, you will be able to use ChatGPT to produce a complete PBL design with driving question, inquiry sequence, student choices, milestones, assessment, resources, and authentic final product, then evaluate it for standards alignment, genuine inquiry, student voice, cognitive rigor, real-world relevance, feasibility, and audience authenticity. You will leave with a repeatable process that can be adapted to future tasks while keeping professional judgment in the loop.
